We shouldn't teach great books; we should teach a love of reading. - B. F. Skinner

I am an aritst and avid reader of fantasy, romantasy, romance, contemporary romance, and YA. I read mainly audiobooks and epubs from my local library. I also enjoy the occasional paperback or hardback when my favorite used book store, Sam's Books, has one I am looking for in stock. This page is where I review ARC's from NetGalley or authors I love.

11/2024 - Dream Girl Drama by Tessa Bailey
⭐️⭐⭐⭐ (3.5 stars rounded up)
First of all, if Tessa Bailey writes it, I will read it. I know exactly what I am getting from a TB book and I go into that being comforted and excited. I was excited to read about Sig and Chloe's blossoming relationship. And without the step-sibling storyline, there'd have been no book. But I can't say it didn't sit with me the wrong way the whole book. And not because of the relationship itself, but because the characters made it so.

8/2024 - Fall Into You by Caroline Frank
⭐️⭐⭐ (2.5 rounded up)
Liza was just dumped by her cheating, pretentious professor fiancé of three years. But she's not that broken up about it. In fact, she's sort of relieved. And what do we have here? Her brother Vinny's old med-school, roommate she had once crushed on hard! He just happened to have gotten even better over the last few years.

5/2024 - The Au Pair Affair by Tessa Bailey
⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐
There isn't a book that Tessa Bailey writes that I would not dive head first into without a second thought. I live for her little synopsis ideas she posts occasionally, so a full book about an older single dad who falls first and hard for his au pair, I couldn't have opened this one faster.
